Hello! I'm Douglas Cootey and you have discovered my latest distraction. I've been posting my art online since 1995, which you can find at The Absentminded Artist - my home island in this vast sea of information. These days I am very active with The Splintered Mind, my weekly column about fighting neurological difficulties with nothing but a bag of cheeky humor and attitude in your pocket. I'm also writing a novel, raising children, raising Cain, and various other artsy controversial things that you'll probably never find out about.
